December 2, 2024 – $1,351 per day

I’ve written before about the extraordinary burden that Arizona Attorney General Kris Mayes and the judge initially assigned to my case have caused me and my family.

The entire prosecution is outrageous because I had nothing to do with challenging the 2020 election results in Arizona – I did not represent President Trump in that state.

But to add insult to injury, Mayes and the judge have agreed that the prosecution of me is a “complex case” and the trial isn’t scheduled to even begin until January 2026!

Think about the burden that is being imposed. I will have to pay a skilled legal team to work for nearly a year and a half to represent me – filing motions, responding to the Attorney General and other parties, conducting discovery, reviewing documents, conducting depositions and interrogatories, and eventually preparing for trial.

I did the math and the current trial schedule means that I have to raise $1,351 per day, every day, in order to cover the approximate $500,000 in legal fees that I will need to raise. And that’s just for Arizona!

You can see what I’m up against in Arizona. The whole system is being weaponized against me and I urgently need your financial support to defend myself. Will you make a generous donation today to my legal defense fund?

My only shot at avoiding these massive legal defense costs is getting the case dismissed. But even that is an expensive undertaking.

You see, the trial judge originally assigned to my case has been forced to recuse himself because of a shocking scandal – he showed tremendous animus to supporters of Donald Trump like me in private written communications to other judges during the run-up to the 2024 election.

A new judge assigned to the case will have to get up to speed on the very complicated issues already before the court. He’ll have little choice but to reschedule hearings and may ask for additional materials. This means my team will have to spend considerable time – at considerable expense to me – getting a new judge familiar with the issues, including my pending motions to dismiss the case.

Meanwhile, my team and I are strategizing over steps that should be taken in light of a second shocking revelation concerning this case. It turns out that an outside lawfare group was colluding with the Attorney General’s office about how to bring the case against me and how to prosecute it once brought.

They even wrote a script – called a “prosecution memo” – detailing the steps that the AG should take to prosecute me. And AG Kris Mayes is following that script!

This is a grotesque violation of prosecutorial ethics and another reason that this case should be dismissed.

Sadly, the sordid situation my family and I are having to deal with in Arizona is just one of the lawfare assaults I have to defend against. I continue to fight the outrageous attempt by a California State Bar judge to recommend my disbarment, and I am embroiled in new, complex legal actions in Georgia seeking to get that prosecution dismissed as well.

This may well be the most critical time I’ve ever had to fight for my rights and defeat the lawfare radicals. It’s crucial that my Legal Defense Fund receive significant additional financial support right now.

I need to raise $1,351 per day to stay on top of what needs to be done just in Arizona. Your gift of $25$50$100$250$500, or $1,000 or more is urgently needed.

Is it possible that you could donate $1,351 or organize a group of friends to cover that amount? I know that’s a lot to even suggest, but unfortunately that’s what I need to raise every single day.

Thank you for whatever you can do to help. Any amount will be greatly appreciated.

Sincerely,

John Eastman
